Admission Process

Step One: Tour Our School

At Gates Preschool we value personal relationships because we want our families to feel engaged on every level. Parents are invited to schedule a visit with our Admissions Director. To schedule a tour, please call us at 504-885-4339 or email admissions@gatesofprayer.org.

Step Two: Apply

Registration for Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K programs are open to the community; however, preference is given to currently enrolled families and congregation members in good standing. 

A waiting list is available once classes become filled. Before and After Care programs are reserved for enrolled families only and schedules must align with school schedules.

Step Three: Student Visit

Prospective students visit one of our age-appropriate classrooms for a scheduled morning visit. We love the opportunity to meet and gain insight into your child’s unique gifts and talents. 

Step Four: Notification

Acceptance notifications will be sent by February 20 for students applying for fall enrollment. Decisions for rolling admissions are made ongoing throughout the school year as spaces become available. Parents will receive a response after all required application materials have been submitted.
