Judaism 101
This course, offered annually, is perfect for those interested in conversion or anyone who seeks a refresher on the fundamentals of Jewish tradition including, Jewish sacred texts, prayer and worship, history, lifecycles, and holidays.
Adult Hebrew
Taught by Temple Educator Phillip Gaethe, this course is designed for those interested in an adult B'nai Mitzvah, anyone who did not attend Hebrew school or seeks a refresher on the Hebrew alphabet. Download text HERE
News & Schmooze
Join Rabbi Gerber every Wednesday from noon to 1PM to discuss news and topics of the day. Bagels and cream cheese from Panera Bread are provided.
Evening Adult Education
Join us Wednesday evenings at 7PM for intimate learning experiences with our rabbis. We offer new courses every fall and spring designed to deepen your relationship with Judaism. Past topics have included Mussar, the study and practice of Jewish character refinement, and Jewish theology.
Landau Lecture Series
Every year Congregation Gates of Prayer brings in a renowned speaker or educator for a weekend of learning. The Landau Lecture series attracts some of the brightest and most innovative Jewish educators to spend a Shabbaton with our congregation.
Chayei Sarah
Every fall during the weekend of parsha Chayei Sarah, we feature a prominent Jewish scholar, artist, or thinker who has achieved prestige in her field.
